RESEARCH INTERESTS

• Development of new methodologies or strategies for the assembly of oligosaccharides.

• Synthesis and evaluation of biologically important oligosaccharides such as tumor-associated antigens.

• Design, synthesis and evaluation of carbohydrate-processing enzyme inhibitors as well as discovery of new carbohydrate-based drugs.

• Chemical modifications of aminoglycoside antibiotics.
