学术委员会名誉主任、中国科学院院士

王夔,男,1928 年出生,1949 年本科毕业于燕京大学化学系。现任北京大学医学部药学院教授,中国科学院院士及学部主席团成员。研究方向为与疾病相关的细胞无机化学。主要研究无机化合物生物效应的化学基础及其规律。目前研究包括:无机化合物调节和控制细胞生命(如增殖、分化和凋亡)和功能的化学基础;无机化合物作用于细胞,干预细胞信号转导的机理;基于无机离子对病理过程的干预和调整研究新型无机药物。在大骨节病病理化学研究中,提出了异常细胞-异常基质-异常矿化的理论,把已有的三种大骨节病病因说统一起来;在胆红素研究中,阐述了色素型胆结石形成的自由基化学过程;在顺铂类抗癌药物与细胞的相互作用的研究中,找到了几种毒性低,抗癌活性强的铂络合物;在稀土和其它金属离子的生物效应的化学基础研究中,阐明了稀土吸收和跨血脑屏障的机制,阐明了稀土促进细胞增殖和凋亡的信号转导机制,阐明了稀土毒性的分子机制。自70 年代以来,率先在国内倡导和开展了细胞生物无机化学研究,在细胞层次上研究无机离子生物效应的机理,阐明它们与病理和毒理过程的关系,提出了细胞作为多靶反应系统应答无机物,无机物的跨膜运输是具有手性选择性的多途径、多步骤的复杂化学过程,总结了无机离子生物效应的“相似作用规律”。近年来,提出了“预防药学”的新概念,开辟了药物研究的新领域。曾获教委及教育部科技进步一等奖、二等奖及三等奖各一项以及中科院科学进步二等奖和三等奖各一项(分课题),获何梁何利科学与进步奖。
